Hinchinbrook Regional Arts Assn Inc invites you to visit Cardwell Gallery
The Historic Cardwell School of Arts building is home to our gallery space, just off the Bruce Highway, right next to Cardwell Library at 2 Balliol St. Cardwell
Our region is an inspirational place for all artisans. Cardwell is perched on the edge of the Coral Sea, looking out towards the World Heritage listed Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. We have magnificent vistas of the majestic peaks of Hinchinbrook Island and the sanctuary of the Brook Isles, Bedarra, Dunk and Goold Islands are all just offshore. Our warm tropical waters are home to Dugong and Turtles. On a calm day, when the water’s surface turns to glass, you can actually hear them break the surface of the water and draw breath. If our ocean vistas are not inspiration enough, we have a backdrop of the Wet Tropics World Heritage listed Cardwell & Kirrima Ranges, dense and ancient rainforests, thundering tropical rivers, crystal clear tropical streams and some of the rarest and most precious creatures on earth. An artists paradise - This region is truly inspirational! Showcasing local & regional fine art & craft
Call in and take a look at all the wonderful and unique arts and crafts on display - you may find a treasure to take home or inspiration to take up a craft!
